I am PISSED that this girl-centric, art-positive imprint was abandoned by the publisher without much of a fight.

Compared to titles like Apocalipstix and Peach Girl, the Minx titles were funny and brainy. Maybe they should have marketed them to grownups.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07372347723680794611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28103455.post-86349777303690615492008-11-30T10:51:00.000-05:002008-11-30T10:51:00.000-05:00I'm a teenager & I was really excited abou...I'm a teenager & I was really excited about the Minx imprint at first. I borrowed six of the books from the library, and I was very disappointed in the content itself. I think I only liked two of them (Confessions and Kimmie66), and I just finished reading the other four because they weren't very thick. I agree that there was no way that they could have compared to manga (they were shelved there in both the library and local Borders). Even though, I'm sad that the imprint is canceled.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28103455.post-9426327799352839162008-11-24T11:42:00.000-05:002008-11-24T11:42:00.000-05:00I think I've got a reading copy of Good as Lily ar...I think I've got a reading copy of Good as Lily around here.
